Derek Pringle An all-rounder who played for Essex from 1978 to 1993, Pringle was known for his medium-fast bowling. He took over 800 wickets in first-class cricket and was instrumental in Essex's successes during the 1980s.
Neil Foster A right-arm fast-medium bowler, Foster represented Essex from 1981 to 1993. He claimed 908 first-class wickets at an average of 27.18, including 25 five-wicket hauls.
Stuart Turner played for Essex between 1954 and 1968, Turner was a right-arm fast-medium bowler who took 1,361 first-class wickets at an average of 24.05.
Ray East A slow left-arm orthodox spinner, East played for Essex from 1965 to 1984. He took 1,010 wickets at an average of 25.54, with best figures of 8 for 30. Despite his success, he never played for England, but he remains a cult hero at Essex.
